AC_D3: Behind the Scenes (Part 5)

For Day 3 of 2018's Advent Calendar, it's another old AU getting an update. (For Book14Reader and CosmosQueen- hope you guys enjoy this update.)

In case you've never read it, in this AU, Harry becomes a movie star and starts collecting a very worrying set of fans- not that Harry knows that yet.

“Where are you going?” Kisame asked.

Itachi straightened his coat.

“Are you going to inspire that old director to make a sequel?” Kisame asked with a long-suffering internal sigh.

Itachi didn’t react, but that was enough of an answer to Kisame.

“Your sharingan probably doesn't work on him properly. He’ll just make a new film instead of a sequel,” Kisame didn’t have to say ‘like last time’ out loud. Itachi was still sour that the first film, his favourite, hadn’t gotten the sequel he’d planned for.

“They teased a sequel, this time. They should be filming it,” Itachi said.

“You don’t know how they do things in the film industry. Maybe it takes a while to start a sequel.”

“It’s been three months,” Itachi said.

“Since the movie came out,” Kisame retorted.

Itachi’s eyes gleamed red.

Kisame didn’t look away. “You know I’m right.”

Itachi stared at him for a moment longer. Then with a deliberate look of dismissal, he turned and walked away.

“What do I tell Leader if he assigns us a mission?”

Itachi disappeared from sight.

AC_D12: Behind the Scenes (Part 4)

Remember this AU? If you don't here are the previous parts: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3

The large white owl screeched as it flapped it's wings above him.

Kisame had never seen a bird like it before but judging from it's complete lack of fear, it had experience with ninja. It certainly looked unique enough to be a summon animal. But it didn't speak, just glared at him with amber eyes.

Kisame held out his hand like Itachi usually did for birds.

The owl swooped down on his arm, a solid weight that took him by surprise, and held up a leg. With clumsy fingers, Kisame untied the scroll it's leg. He opened the scroll, squinted at the terrible writing and then read the letter multiple times with growing annoyance.

That Itachi,” Kisame shook his head, walked through the rain and into the empty building they used, the owl still latched onto his arm.

With his eyes closed and body folded into a meditative pose, Itachi didn't acknowledge his presence.

We've got mail,” Kisame said, much louder than he usually would.

Itachi opened his eyes in annoyance and frowned when he caught sight of the owl.

You didn't tell me he sent you tickets for the new movie,” Kisame said. “Since you couldn't make it to the premiere because you were busy, he sent tickets which can be used anywhere and any time.”

Itachi closed his eyes.

AC_D3: Behind the Scenes (Part 3)

This is a continuation of my “Behind the Scenes”-verse and also a partial fill for a prompt that came in a while back. In September to be exact, but I never had a chance to work on it.

The prompt was “Can I request a scenario where the "fairy-tale" that Harry was asked to give circulates around Konoha and soon books, a fanbase, etc. start to pop into existence. Harry is then given another movie role, but as the creepy/snake/diary/evil man?

To whoever sent this prompt in, I hope you don't mind seeing it so late.

Fyi, the fairy-tale thing that the prompt is referring to, is from a much older prompt that I filled out ages ago.

Behind the Scenes (Part 2)

Here's a sequel to this mad idea as a celebration of Itachi's birthday today.

“Do you really want to do this?” Kisame asked, hoping his partner to change his mind if he repeated the question multiple time.

Itachi shot him a look, the same annoyed look as before. A look that said that nothing could change his mind.

At least, Kisame thought that was what the look said. For all he knew, the look could be Itachi's way of telling Kisame that he was close to death at the younger ninja's hand.

“But this is...” Kisame struggled for the right words. “This isn't the sort of place for us. We stand out even without the Akatsuki cloaks.”

Itachi turned away from him to look straight ahead.

Kisame hunched down with a sigh, wishing he was shorter so he wouldn't tower over everyone in the slow moving line. The youngsters, most of them female, fidgeted in the line with an impatient energy that made Kisame antsy.

He had to stop himself multiple times from drawing Sameheda out of pure frustration at the sheer grating noise levels from the others in line.

He didn't doubt if he did something outrageous, Itachi would make him pay. He'd probably make Kisame watch that accursed movie again.

Even though he knew that the line was moving, Kisame was still surprised when they reached the front in less than half an hour. He was even more surprised when the actor from the movie straightened with recognition.

AC_D6: Behind the Scenes

To the person who asked about the “follow by email subscription list” - it should still be working.

This post will be a fill for this prompt “The crazy movie director from Naruto's past is making a movie based on the founding of Konoha......Harry accidentally gets cast in the part of Madara.” that was submitted by Haley Novak.

Naruto sped towards the tower, excited and ready to take on whatever mission he was being called in for. He hoped it was a super cool mission. Something that he could tell nii-san about later on.
Nii-san had loved hearing about all his older missions.

All those dreams of important and flashy missions disappeared when he entered the Hokage's office.

A familiar old man with blue tinted glasses and a brown outfit lit up with excitement as soon as he saw Naruto. “Ah, you've grown a lot over the years. kid.”

Naruto frowned, unsure of who the man was.
